These terms ("terms") govern your use of asimut.app and the Asimut app, published by VAAG Fabrikat AS ("we", "us"). Please also read our privacy policy. In short: the app is provided as is, the music you make is yours, and you can leave the mailing list at any time.

Publisher

asimut.app and the Asimut app are published by VAAG Fabrikat AS, org. no. 933 025 918, Austevågen 26, 5354 Straume, Norway, which is the party to these terms. Contact: post@vaagfabrikat.no.

Agreement to these terms

By using asimut.app or joining the Asimut mailing list, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Your use of the app is additionally governed by Apple’s App Store terms.

The app and its beta

Asimut is an iPad, iPhone and Mac application under active development. Pre-release builds are distributed through Apple TestFlight to invited testers and are provided "as is" and "as available". Features may change or be removed in later versions.

Mailing list

If you submit and confirm your email, you consent to receive launch news and occasional product updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Your content

The sounds, presets, recordings and music you create with Asimut are yours. We claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for holding the rights to any audio you import or distribute, and for how you use what you make.

Acceptable use

Use the site and the app lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt, attack or gain unauthorised access to our services.

Intellectual property

Asimut, its factory sounds and presets, and this website and its content belong to VAAG Fabrikat AS. You may use the factory sounds in music you make with Asimut.

Trademarks

Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac, macOS, iPadOS, App Store and TestFlight are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. IOS is a trademark or registered trademark of Cisco in the U.S. and other countries and is used under license. Other product names belong to their respective owners. VAAG Fabrikat AS is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Apple Inc.

Disclaimers

The site and the app are provided without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the site or the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Norwegian law.

Pricing and purchases

Asimut is bought on the App Store, and purchases follow Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. We do not process payments directly.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves, and will publish changes on this page with a new "last updated" date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
